The list below are links to pages we have found helpful, entertaining, or useful in another way.

Aviation Weather - This is the National Weather Service's hub of meteorological information regarding flying! While none of this is a legal weather briefing, it is an excellent way to get an idea of the conditions out there. (Call (800) WX-BRIEF for a real briefing.)

Federal Aviation Administration - The FAA's web page has information about all sorts of things. Certifications, airports, laws, and anything else you might want to find out from the FAA.

Transportation Security Administration - The TSA is another governmental agency with rules about flight training. Click over there to see their rules, opinions, and other tidbits. They are also in charge of the Alien Flight Training Program, which has its own link below.

Alien Flight Student Program - The TSA has instituted a special screening process for all non-US citizens wishing to obtain flight training in the United States. This site is the beginning of the application (and approval) process and also contains an FAQ page to help you get started.

Santa Monica Airport, City's page - This is the City of Santa Monica's official web page for the airport. While it provides general information, a more aviation helpful source is linked below.

Santa Monica Airport, AirNav's page - This is an informational page geared less at the airport as a city institution and more as a pilot resource.

Flight Schedule Pro - This is our online scheduling program. It requires pre-approval from us to access, but once you can all of your scheduling can be done on your own and it is easily accessible online.

Weather Channel - This is a great resource for getting a general idea of weather conditions up to 10 days in advance, something that many weather information sources geared towards aviation don't offer.

Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association - The AOPA is the leading national organization that supports general aviation.  Their site is priceless in all the information it offers, and we encourage all pilots to sign up.  If you're thinking about learning to fly, take full advantage of their 6 month free trial!

Pilot Finance - This company has one service.  Financing your flight training.  This is a great option to those who can't afford to train right now all at once, and we encourage everyone to explore the option.

Sporty's - This online pilot shop has one of the largest collections of items available.  Training materials, gadgets, and toys are all there for the taking.

Pilot Mall - Not quite as large a collection as Sporty's, but cheaper.  For the frugal aviator within!

V1 Pilot Supplies - One of two pilot shops at the Santa Monica Airport, the other being Pilot Outfitter's (no website).

AME Locator - The FAA provides this tool to find an aviation medical examiner in order to get a medical certificate.

FARs
- This is the online Federal Aviation Regulations.

AIM - The Aeronautical Information Manual is the FAA's official guidebook.  Not regulatory, but full of information and good ideas.

Spitfire Grill - This restaurant, located just down the street from us, is what we playfully call the "Annex".  If we're not in the office, we can usually be found at a corner table at this fine eatery.  Feel free to join us.
